Studio 1Z is a studio located in The Weather Channel headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The studio acts as the network's live streaming studio.[1]
History
Studio 1Z was named for Heather Zons, Senior Meteorologist at The Weather Channel, on May 8, 2025. Zons noted that she had "been working diligently to improve [The Weather Channel]’s live streaming presence over the past couple of years" prior to the naming.[1] It is currently unclear which area within the headquarters was repurposed to create the studio space.
