TWCJim, formerly known as ImBoredIIDeath, is a member of the Weather Channel fandom based in the area of Astoria, Oregon, and previously based in Spokane, Washington. With over 10,000 subscribers as of December 2024, he runs one of the largest TWC fandom YouTube channels, mainly revolving around footage of The Weather Channel, Weatherscan and Weather Channel music, broadcast television, cable television channel surfing, and the Emergency Alert System. In addition, he is the owner and operator of TWCJim's STAR Database, a long-running database of in-service Weather Star units.

History

TWCJim created his main YouTube channel, originally under the name ImBoredIIDeath, on June 23, 2009. In 2013, Jim assumed ownership of what is today TWCJim's STAR Database from Aaron Walsh (socool775). The ImBoredIIDeath channel rebranded as TWCJim around August to September 2016. Jim created a second channel for Emergency Alert System content, EASJim, on September 2, 2020.
