Velitacast, formerly known as TheFilmReel, is a pseudonymous member of the Weather Channel fandom based in the area of Butler, Pennsylvania. He runs a YouTube channel of the same name that mainly revolves around footage of The Weather Channel and various other types of content; in addition, he was a founder of The Weather Chat, a community group chat that marked a wider shift from forum communities to direct messaging services.
