Abrams & Bettes: Beyond the Forecast was a weather program broadcast by The Weather Channel, presented by network on-camera meteorologists Stephanie Abrams and Mike Bettes.
History
Abrams & Bettes premiered on The Weather Channel on September 25, 2006. It aired from 7-8pm ET. The program aired in standard definition until May 30, 2008. When it returned in high definition on June 2, the following Monday, it featured new branding that matched the rest of the network's new high definition graphics on-air.
From approximately October 2008 to the ending of the program on February 27, 2009, it would be followed by Evening Edition, also hosted by Abrams and Bettes, which would be nearly identical to the preceding broadcast of Abrams & Bettes. The program would be replaced with Weather Center, renamed to Weather Center with Abrams & Bettes and beginning at the same time with a runtime of 180 minutes.
On June 22, 2009, Stephanie Abrams and Mike Bettes moved to Your Weather Today, becoming the program's co-anchors.
