Pattrn (stylized as pattrn, formerly known as Pattern) is a climate-focused media division of Weather Group, a subsidiary of Allen Media Group. Launched in 2018, the division focuses on covering news regarding climate change, extreme weather events and sustainable living. Originally launched as a social media service creating shortform videos similar to The Weather Channel's collaborations with Great Big Story, the division has grown to include a streaming network on Local Now, and a climate-focused talk show on The Weather Channel hosted by Stephanie Abrams and Jordan Steele.
In April 2022, Pattrn was nominated for a Webby Award in the Sustainability & Environment category.[1]
Pattrn discontinued its streaming network on Local Now and cable networks on December 31, 2024, as a result of budget cuts at Allen Media Group, The Weather Channel's parent company.[2]
