Weather Star 4000 flavors
The following is a list of flavors, or lineups of local forecast segments, as seen on the Weather Star 4000 used by The Weather Channel from its first use in 1990 until its retirement in 2014. The list is organized into chronological sections.

1990 - November 1992
D (1 minute)

E (1 minute)

F (1 minute)
Products: Current conditions, regional forecast, 36 hour forecast, current radar
H (1 minute)
Products: 36 hour forecast, almanac, regional forecast, current radar
I (30 seconds)
The I flavor was a very short thirty-second local forecast aired immediately after the 5 Day Business Planner; it was discontinued in August 1992.

J / LL (3 minutes)
The J/LL flavors were three-minute-long flavors that were identical except the time of broadcast, with the J flavor being shown at :27 and :57 after the hour.

An alternate K flavor was used from August 1992 to sometime in early 1994, with the only difference being that this one used the regional forecast rather than the regional observations.
