The World's Funniest Weather is a comedy television program created by Entertainment Studios for The Weather Channel. It was created in 2019 and is currently in its fifth season, with episodes being premiered through June 2023.[1]
Premise
The World's Funniest Weather revolves around various comedic video clips relating to weather, including clips from both professional (news) sources and home videos. In a sense, the format is similar to ABC's long-running series America's Funniest Home Videos in that it showcases comedic clips with added commentary from the host. Unlike that series, however, The World's Funniest Weather does not revolve around a competition for a monetary prize.
Reception
The show's rating on IMDb is average, currently at 5.0/10 and down from 5.6/10 in 2022.[2]
Distribution
The series was created for The Weather Channel, airing there upon its premiere in 2019, but has since also expanded to syndication through local stations.[3][4]
