We've upgraded to MediaWiki 1.38.2 as part of routine maintenance. Feel free to try out the new Vector 2022 skin from the Wikimedia Foundation. The skin is still a work in progress, so some things may not be fully in place yet. TWC Archive's default theme will be switched to Vector 2022 once development is completed.

Our long awaited re-designed front page has officially launched. We hope this is an even more welcoming way to experience the wiki, featuring fun facts, featured articles written by community members, This Month in TWC History, and more. In the future, you'll be able to nominate articles for the front page, and fun facts. Keep posted for more information in the future.

We've upgraded to MediaWiki 1.39.1 as part of routine maintenance. This should fix any outstanding LUA scripting errors related to Message Box templates, please let us know on the Discord server if you see any still hanging around. The new Vector (2022) skin has had additional updates and is close to completion by the Reading/Web/Desktop Improvements team at Wikimedia. If you have any feedback about this new theme, please let us know! We still plan to switch TWC Archive's default theme over to Vector (2022) once a completed version is shipped in forthcoming versions of Mediawiki.
UPDATE (2023-01-23): We will not deploy the theme until there is a site-wide default option included for disabling limited width mode. Watching responses from the public to the deployment of Vector (2022) on English Wikipedia has shown most people do not like the limited width content layout, and would prefer a content width closer to the current Vector (2010) layout. Limited width mode will be made an option for those who explicitly want to enable it on TWC Archive, and not a default. We have also enabled Monobook as a skin choice for those who prefer the default layout from before Vector (2010).
